Oscars Bingo for reddit.com/r/movies 2015

Sunday, March 1st, 2015

A little belated, but, worth posting anyways. For the second year in a row, the moderators at the movies subreddit approached us, via our custom bingo cards to help with their Oscars Bingo contest. Over 3 times as many of the cards were claimed this year! This years live contest thread is here. It looks like it worked out for everyone! It’s a fun use of our site – but highly customized – we host a custom mini-site to distribute the custom bursted and logo’d cards to the reddit users.

Oscar’s Bingo for reddit? Yes… we can do that.

Saturday, March 1st, 2014

We had an interesting email the other day from a moderator of the movie subreddit on … er… reddit.com. They wanted some help with their Oscars Bingo game.

Several emails, and a little bit of one-off work using print-bingo.com, and we had a system that worked for everyone.

And it’s live now:  official reddit thread. It’s not a typical use of our custom bingo card generator, print-bingo.com, but, it is not the first custom job that we have ever done, nor is it likely to be the last.

Canadian Debate 2011 Bingo (English)!

Monday, April 11th, 2011

The first debate of the 2011 Canadian Federal Election is tomorrow.  It always seems to come so quickly, at least compared to the US elections where  the build up to the debates is months long!

We won’t know if this is an interesting debate or a snooze-fest, but you are encouraged to hedge your bets by printing off a few of our special edition Canadian Debate 2011 Bingo Cards.  Will F-35 jets come up?  Health care?  Education?  Aliens from Jupiter? Who knows – it’s Canadian politics, afterall!

Print a few cards off and at least someone in your group will win bragging rights for the night.

Columbus Day Themed Bingo Cards

Wednesday, October 6th, 2010

We’ve added a new word list for our template bingo card design collection, so, please welcome our new Columbus Day Themed Bingo Cards.

That  set of word lists is getting hard to browse, we’re going to have to improve the template listings page soon!

Also fitting for this time of year:

  • Canadians!  Our Thanksgiving Word List is alive and waiting for you!  Unfortunately, it’s a little American-centric, since most of our business is  from the USA. You’ll have to edit the word list to make it more Canadian.
  • Our Halloween Word List is getting a lot of search engine traffic – already!

Some other recent items of note:

  • If you’re a fan of Bingo on Facebook, look out for our revised Facebook advertising campaign.  We’ll see if we get an ROI on these ads this time around.  We tried Facebook advertising two years ago, and it was a dismal failure.
  • Our Facebook “like” button was initially mis-configured.  Whoops.  After fixing it, we discovered a whole lot of “likes” that were built up, presumably from the Share link that has been part of the site for years. Nice!

Thanks for using Print-Bingo.com.  Basic use of our bingo card generator is still free!  And an upgrade for the entire feature set is still only $10… for now.

Fourth of July Themed Bingo!

Thursday, July 1st, 2010

First note, for Canadians: Happy Canada Day! Unfortunately, we have forgotten to create a custom word list for our own country’s birthday. It’s a bit too late to do it this year, but our Canadian Provinces and Capitals word list is a reasonable place to start.

For our American friends, the Fourth of July is just around the corner! It’s a great day for family to get together… and maybe play a little 4th of July themed bingo?

As always, basic use of print-bingo.com is free. We have hundreds of people using the site every day that way. But we reserve a few features for people who upgrade for the excellent price of $10.

Happy Birthday!
